Free Coffee!

Free coffee, brought to you by McIntyre Library and Sodexho, will be available to students studying in the library from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. finals week, Sunday through Thursday nights, December 16-20.

Pre-Finals and Finals Week Hours

McIntyre Library will be open 24 hours the week before and of finals.

The library will be open:

  • Monday, December 10 from 7:00 a.m. until Midnight Friday, December 14

  • Saturday, December 15 from 7:30 a.m. until Midnight

  • Sunday, December 16 from 7:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 21

The library will be closed on Saturday through Tuesday, December 22-25.

Applications now being accepted for Reference and Instruction Librarian positions (2)

McIntyre Library seeks two service-oriented, enthusiastic librarians interested in providing high quality reference and instruction service in a dynamic and collegial environment. Responsibilities include serving as a subject liaison in assigned areas (business and/or science background preferred), teaching library instruction/information literacy sessions, staffing the reference desk, and fulfilling faculty responsibilities in librarianship, scholarship and service.

These are 12-month tenure-track faculty positions. Minimum salary: $50,110; salary and rank commensurate with education and experience. Eau Claire Area Artists Exhibit Works

The Eau Claire Area Art League, the Valley Art Association and the Watercolor Club will be exhibiting their works in the library's Grand Corridor from November 15 - December 19. Artists featured include Alice Anderson, Tere Hering, Mary Keezer, Jan Kippenhan, JoAnn Klink, Nancy McCarthy, Noriko Slowinski, Leni Sovacool, and Jerrie Yehling. Art is both on display and for sale -a pricing chart is posted with the art work. Come enjoy the exhibit and, if there's something you like, art makes a great holiday gift!
