Bus now stops at McIntyre Library

Last spring a survey conducted by students in Carolin Azab’s Marketing 334 class in collaboration with McIntyre Library identified a need for a bus stop at the library. This suggestion has now been put into action. The Eau Claire Transit route 9 bus now stops at the Garfield Avenue entrance to the library Monday through Friday evenings when classes are in session. From 5:02 p.m. to 10:02 p.m. the bus stops at McIntyre hourly two minutes after the hour. Students, faculty and staff with a valid UW-Eau Claire Blugold ID Card may ride this and any other city bus free. Buses are equipped with bicycle racks. McIntyre Library thanks Eau Claire Transit and the University Senate Physical Plant Planning Committee for their responsiveness to this request to improve access and safety for students.
