National Poetry Month
April is National Poetry Month! Join us in honoring poets and poetry by visiting McIntyre Library's PoeTree (poe-eh-tree), on display on the first floor of the library.
The PoeTree is for everyone! Stop by the PoeTree, write down a poem you love or a poem you've written yourself, and hang it on the tree!

Chronicle of Higher Education now available online
The Chronicle of Higher
Education is now available online for UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and
students through McIntyre Library. The subscription includes web site content
updated throughout the day, text from the current print edition (posted every
Monday morning), a searchable archive of content going back about 25 years,
commentary and essays from the weekly Chronicle Review magazine, and
special reports such as the annual Almanac.
To access the Chronicle
from on or off campus, use links from the Library’s website (www.uwec.edu/library). Click on
“Databases by Title” and navigate to the Chronicle of Higher Education,

Artist Presentation - Tiit Raid - Friday, April 19
Do you ever wonder what goes into making a piece of artwork? Local artist and emeritus art professor Tiit Raid on April 19 will describe his process of creating two works hanging in McIntyre Library, “Remain New” and“The Lesson.” Light refreshments will be served.
