Tax Forms at McIntyre Library

Tax season is upon us! McIntyre Library offers Federal, Wisconsin, and Minnesota tax forms.

Visit McIntyre Library to pick up the following tax forms, or simply download and print them:

• IRS Forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ
• Wisconsin Forms 1 and 1A & WI-Z
• Minnesota  Forms M1 and M1NR

Beginning in 2015, the IRS has reduced the number and type of tax forms distributed to libraries. The IRS is no longer providing print copies of instructional booklets. For IRS forms other than 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ, and for any IRS instructional booklet, visit IRS Forms & Publications to download and print the document you need.

To pick up tax forms, you can also visit the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library or your local IRS office.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides free assistance to taxpayers who earn less than $53,000 annually at several locations in the Eau Claire area.

Reservations No Longer Needed for Equipment Checkout & Study Rooms

The way that students check out equipment and study rooms from McIntyre Library has changed. Starting at the beginning of the spring 2015 semester, we are no longer able to create reservations on all equipment (laptops, iPads, phone chargers, etc.) and study rooms. All equipment and rooms are now checked out on a first come, first serve basis.

This change comes in preparation for the library moving to a new checkout software that does not allow reservations. Other aspects of equipment checkout are the same. If you have any questions, please contact the circulation department (715-8336-3858, library.circulation@uwec.edu).
