Quiet Study Zone Moved to Fourth Floor

Due to current collection shifting and impending construction noise, we have decided to move the Quiet Study Zone from the fifth floor to the fourth floor. With the end of the semester at hand, we hope this will offer students the quiet study area they deserve.

That's stupid. 4th floor has always been the loud group/social floor. You should make the quiet floor 3rd.

seriously, that's not gonna work.

why doesn't the school just start construction on all 5 floors and make us study on the roof. what a joke

I totally agree with making us study on the roof. We take it in the ass from our teachers anyways, why not have the librarians do it to us as well. Why the hell are any of you people writing on this anyways? Get a life!

Thanks for your comments. In retrospect, we agree that third floor would have been abetter choice. Fourth floor will only be the quiet floor temporarily until the construciton is completed (probably October '06). Then we'll switch back to fifth.

I wish the quiet study areas were more clearly marked. I am currently on fourth, and there is a group of four people that has been loud for an hour, and a guy flirting loudly with his girlfriend.

I wish there would be some sort of enforcement or greater indictation of which areas are QUIET areas.

these people who write things anonymously are so irresponsible.. :-(

why don't you be brave and let people actually know who you are... then you wouldn't be quite so brave in your crudeness.....
