Library Hours Summer 2015 (5/25-9/1)

McIntyre Library will be open a reduced number of hours during Summer 2015. The hours are as follows: 

May 25-August 9 

• Monday - Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

August 10-September 1

• Monday - Friday: 8 am - 4:30 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

The library will be closing early the following days:

• Friday June 12 at 4:30 pm
• Friday July 3 at 4:30 pm
• Friday August 7 at 4:30 pm

The library will be closed:

• All Saturday and Sundays
• May 25 for Memorial Day

Finals week stress relievers - Free coffee, pancakes, massages, crafts & coloring pages

Need a little pick-me-up during finals week? McIntyre Library has you covered with a wide variety of events throughout the week.

All week events:

• McIntyre Library will offer free coffee in the library Sunday-Thursday of finals week (May 17-21) from 10 pm - until it's gone each night.
• On the first floor near the television you will find coloring pages with a variety of pictures to choose from.  Hang your masterpiece on the wall for everyone to see!

 One-time events:

• Sunday, May 17th, 4-7 pm
• McIntyre Library will host the LE Phillips Memorial Public Library staff who will be helping students make crafts. All materials will be provided.
• Monday, May 18th, 8-10 pm
• As a special treat, McIntyre Library will be helping you persevere by treating you to freshly flipped pancakes served by library staff and Chancellor Jim on the first floor of the library.
• Monday, May 18th, 7-10 pm
• McIntyre Library will also host the Student Health Services' SWAT team decompression stations.  During this time you can get a free massage, make stress balls, or grab some fresh fruit to energize your studies.

Therapy Dogs in McIntyre Library for Finals

McIntyre Library will be hosting therapy dogs for the spring 2015 finals. They will be in the library the following days and times:

2:30-3:30 pm: Meet Seeker & Racy the shelties, and Magic the border collie

Wednesday, May 13th
12:30-2 pm: Meet Lucky the black lab mix

Sunday, May 17th
Noon-1 pm: Meet Yoda & Spud the border collies and Flash the sheltie
5-6 pm: Meet Beau the flat coated retriever
6-7:30 pm: Meet Solomon & Moses the black labs

Monday, May 18th
Noon-1 pm: Meet Solomon & Moses the black labs
5-7 pm: Meet Luna & Fran the yellow labs, and Ivanna the black lab

Tuesday, May 19th
2:30-3:30 pm: Meet Seeker & Racy the shelties, and Magic the border collie
4:30-6 pm: Meet Tonka the Newfoundland
6:30-8 pm: Meet Ziva & Genevieve the blue heelers, and Charlie the cocker spaniel
