More Computers in McIntyre Library

You may have noticed some changes between last year and this year, especially on the first floor.  Because of the first floor renovation and the 24 Hour Lab’s closure, McIntyre Library has more computers available for student use than ever before.  In fact, when the renovation is complete we will have over 125 computers available for students to use, including over a dozen available 24/7 in the library’s 24 hour study. We have added computers on most other floors and also added a handful more collaboration pods with large screens on the first floor.

The image in this blog post shows a map of the first floor with its computer stations (as of 9/22/15) and type of computer available.  Please note that the library instruction lab (L1033) is an open computer lab with 30 computers to use when a class is not using it.

The addition of computers in the library has yet to be completed.  More will be added in the coming days and weeks. Thank you for your patience as we work to make the library a better space for your studying needs.
