McIntyre Library Seeks Student Feedback

McIntyre Library is seeking new members for its Student Advisory Committee.

The Student Advisory Committee provides feedback to the library on ways in which we can improve the services & spaces of the library.  Members also help the library select new books, DVDs, and music for the our collection.

Examples of how the committee has helped the library over the past year include asking for the library to replace bean bags that had been discarded, adding headsets with microphones to the equipment checkout pool, helping with the planning of the pancakes during finals week event, and purchasing a variety of DVDs including all of the X-Men movies and all seasons of Game of Thrones.

The first meeting of the year will be on October 28 at 5 pm. Pizza will be served to student members.

Library Suggestion Blog Debuts

For years, suggestions, complaints and questions about library services have lived on a board on the first floor of the McIntyre Library. Suggestions were written on yellow sheets of paper and put in a suggestion box.

Starting today, each suggestion, complaint, or question you ask us about our services on the yellow form and from the electronic suggestion form will be posted here, online on the McIntyre Library Suggestion Blog. Using a blog will allow each entry to have it's own URL, allow it to be coded by subject so you can search for previous answers to your burning questions, and also allow you to comment on the response.
