Big Read Kick Off: Free books, fire trucks and more!
Eau Claire's Big Read, featuring Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, begins Saturday, March 10, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. Eau Claire fire trucks will deliver free copies of Ray Bradbury’s book Fahrenheit 451 to the library. Crowd-pleasing author Mike Perry will get us fired up and City Manager Mike Huggins will be on hand to officially ignite the Eau Claire Big Read. This is the first in a long list of events scheduled throughout the spring to celebrate the book, the issues raised in the book, and a community coming together to share a book. Be a part of it!
